Our Approach

A Rigorous Client Acceptance Process:
Due to our long standing history in Asia, we have very significant deal flow. We meet with hundreds of Asian based growth companies every year. The vast majority of them approach us directly. Historically, we have accepted less than 2% of all companies reviewed as clients.
All of our accepted clients must have these basic characteristics: market leader in their respective industry, strong corporate governance, more than US$2 million in annual net income, solid balance sheet and rapid year over year earnings growth. During our client acceptance process, we perform extensive forensic accounting and legal reviews on a potential client company, a process which typically lasts between 7 to 11 months, over at least two quarters. In addition, our cultural familiarity and extensive Asian relationships help us gain insightful knowledge through "human" due diligence - getting to know the people involved in a particular project.
The market rises and the market falls, but we have conviction that a company with strong fundamentals, a clear vision, a passionate and disciplined management team will succeed over time.
