In 2011, one of our portfolio companies, NASDAQ listed Harbin Electric, Inc., was acquired in an $800 million merger acquisition, generating more than 1200% investment returns for its initial U.S. based investors, resulting in the largest China based, U.S. listed company that was taken private in the U.S. in 2011. Another NASDAQ listed China based company China Fire & Security Group was taken private for $265 million in 2011, a 227% return for its initial U.S. investors. In February 2012, NASDAQ listed China based company Shanda Interactive was acquired in a $2.3 billion merger acquisition, resulting in multiple returns to its original U.S. based investors.
